Interested in putting on an event?

Whether you’re an individual or an organisation, your event is online or in person, free or ticketed, we want to hear from anyone interested in celebrating and spotlighting East and South East Asian heritage and communities in the UK.

We encourage you to incorporate this year’s theme, “Evolving Threads”, into your event. Examples of events you can run include:

  • Supper clubs sharing stories and connections among participants

  • Teach-ins to educate and collaborate

  • Walking tours highlighting ESEA stories and heritage

  • Poetry slams with participants sharing their take on the theme

The programme will be published in mid-July, so make sure you get your event submitted before then to be included in the initial promotions. If your event isn’t quite ready, don’t worry you can still submit your event later on and we will update the calendar at least once a week.

We strongly encourage organisations and individuals based outside London to register - we’re on a mission to make ESEA Heritage Month accessible all over the country, and we’re here to help in any way we can!

We really encourage you to submit your event when your details are final, but we know sometimes things change. If you need an amendment please email us at hello@besean.co.uk and we can update the programme. The programme will be updated on a weekly basis.
